From the shores of Lough Neagh (the largest lake in the UK and the largest body of fresh water in the island of Ireland) the River Bann flows towards the Atlantic Ocean providing a full sixty kilometres of stunning unspoilt scenery.
The river meanders through Lough Beg, a small freshwater lake and a National Nature Reserve site to enter the Causeway Coast and Glens region where it flows through or close to the bustling market towns of Portglenone and Kilrea and the university town of Coleraine where the Bann finally reaches the sea.
