Watersports

Ocean... loughs... rivers... glens... water is what makes so much of our scenery truly spectacular. It’s great to admire from a distance, but it’s even better to get right in and enjoy it, whether that means a leisurely paddle along the strand, surfing in the Atlantic or something in between!

Not surprisingly water based sports are big here and, whether you’re already adept or willing to take the plunge for the first time, there are great opportunities for the full range of watersports. Often you don’t even need to bring your own kit, but can hire locally.

It’s all there waiting for you and there are dozens of ways to get out and about beside, in or on the waters of the Causeway Coast and Glens. Explore a few and you will discover that getting wet can be wonderful.
